The SEAT Leon Ecomotive - available in S and SEversions - had to have it all: an eco-friendly nature with the road-punishing performance the SEAT Leon is known for. So we tweaked. We improved the SEAT Leon's electronic management system.
We added a gearshift indicator that tells you the optimal shift time to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. We added a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to trap soot particles. But it wasn't good enough. So we tweaked some more. We made the new SEAT Leon E-Ecomotive lighter on its feet. We used special low resistance tyres to improve aerodynamics.
What we designed is a car with one of the most efficient and innovative engines in the SEAT range: the 105PS, 1.6 TDI. With a torque of 250 Nm at 1500-2500 rpm, the SEAT Leon E-Ecomotive can take you from 0-100 kmh in only 11.5 seconds - and travel 100 km on a paltry 3.8 litres of fuel. A shapely, slimmed down SEAT Leon that's large on performance with CO2 emissions of just 99 g/km: proof that sporty and green can exist in one.
