The Breakdown Call function is designed to be activated manually, but in the event of a minor accident, a pop up will appear with three options : Activate Emergency Call, Activate Breakdown Call, Assistance Call. Anyone can activate the Breakdown Call by pressing the button in the ceiling module on in the "phone" section on the in car entertainment menu.
SEAT CONNECT is available in Germany, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Malta, Montenegro, the Slovak Republic, Andorra, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Serbia, Albania, Macedonia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Ukraine and Gibraltar.
The online service can show you the location of fuel stations, public and private car park and where available, the total number of available parking spaces.

Your infotainment system will send you a reminder for your next service. If you have consented to sharing your information with your preferred SEAT Retailer, they will then get in touch with you to arrange an appointment, using your preferred contact method (e-mail or phone).
Your SEAT Retailer will also receive the following information about your car:
A VIN (Vehicle Identification Number or Chassis Number) is a unique 17-digit code assigned to your SEAT and is a combination of numbers and characters.
You can find it in your registration documents but you can also see it on the bottom left side of the windscreen as you stand facing the car.

If you haven't registered and fully activated SEAT CONNECT, you can only use the Public Emergency Call Service. If you have a navigation plus system won;t be able to navigate online and "Hola Hola" will only work with specific voice commands.
In order to register, just download the SEAT CONNECT app from the Apple or Google Play Store, create your SEAT ID and register your SEAT.
If your car was parked in an area with poor network coverage such as an underground car park, it may have failed to send parking data to the server. With an adequate signal, your car's last location will be sent to the server as soon as the engine is switched off.
When you activate SEAT CONNECT, the "Hola Hola" function is designed to learn to understand natural speech (with Natural Language Control). This allows you to give commands in a natural way, without having to learn specific ones. As long as you have an internet connection, you can:
"Hola Hola" also allows you dictate SMS messages and emails. To dictate a message, press the microphone button and speak naturally. When you have finished, you can check, delete or dictate it again if necessary.
SEAT stores personal data provided by customers, as well as other vehicle information necessary for the provision of SEAT CONNECT services. All data generated from using the SEAT CONNECT services belongs to you, the customer. As a result, the use of this data is dependent on your explicit consent.
Please note that all data is used only by SEAT and its distribution & service partners. Data is not shared with third parties for commercial reasons and in the majority of cases, it is kept anonymous (non-anonymous data is used only when necessary). In such cases, SEAT processes the data according to strict security guidelines.
When your car detects a serious accident, for example due to the deployment of airbags, a call to the emergency services is automatically initiated. The operators are provided with the vehicle’s location, driving direction and number of passengers, enabling help to be sent quickly and precisely even if you are incapacitated. Emergency call can also be manually activated via the SOS button.
When you activate the Breakdown Call service, information such as mileage, current warning lights and error messages is passed to the SEAT Retailer to ensure they have all of the required information to diagnose any issues. The location of your car and the time of the call is also transmitted.

When you activate CONNECT, your navigation system is upgraded to access to online information. There are no extra charges as all data usage from the navigation system is included in the CONNECT service package.
