SEAT MÓ 125 Warranty

Peace of Mind

The scooter includes a 2 year design and manufacturing warranty with unlimited mileage.

If a fault in manufacture or workmanship occurs during your warranty period, a member of the SEAT MO Authorised network will carry out work under the warranty free of charge.

Natural wear due to use of wear parts, such as tyres, brake discs, brake pads, is not included in the warranty. The manufacturer and the designated MO Retailer will decide which defective parts will be replaced or repaired.

There is no right to the warranty if:

a) The fault is related to maintenance or a repair made outside the Official SEAT MO service network.

b) The vehicle has been modified or changed in any way, or fitted with parts that do not form part of the vehicle’s equipment and are expressly certified by the manufacturer, if the fault is related to the modification in question.

c) The vehicle has been used in a sports competition.

d) The usage, maintenance and service instructions established in this manual have not been followed.

The warranty period begins from the date of transfer of ownership and is transferable to subsequent owners within the warranty period.

Battery Warranty

The Battery pack comes with a manufacturer’s 4 year warranty or 40.000km whichever comes sooner.

The battery pack must at least have a full charge and full discharge of the battery pack every month this is compulsory, if this monthly maintenance it’s not done, it will damage the battery consequently losing the warranty of it.

If any part of the electrical harness of the scooter and/or electric component is modified / manipulated without a written authorisation from Scutum, automatically the battery Pack warranty is lost.

The battery warranty is transferable to subsequent owners within the warranty period.

Extended Warranty

You can take out an optional Extended Warranty of 2 years which includes:

  • One new 5.6kWh battery pack
  • For 2 years or 40,000km (whichever comes first)

This will be the same terms as the Battery Warranty, at least one full charge and full discharge of battery pack every month is compulsory. If this monthly maintenance is not done, it will damage the battery and consequently invalidate the warranty of it.

If any part of the electrical harness of the scooter and/or electric component is modified / manipulated without a written authorization from SEAT (acting as sole representative of Scutum), automatically the Battery Pack warranty extension is invalidated.

This optional warranty extension will activate when the initial 4 year warranty expires on the Battery Pack.

Battery Performance

The batteries are tried and tested and have been shown to still retain 97% capacity after 1,000 charge cycles.

If the battery does not maintain 80% of its initial rated charge capacity for the initial 3 years, or 70% of the initial capacity for the first 5 years then the battery will be repaired or replaced.
