Aerodynamics

Efficient aerodynamics play a vital role in your car's overall efficiency.
The more aerodynamic your car is, the less drag it produces. Less drag means less effort is needed to push it through the air. Good aerodynamics lead to better performance and fuel economy. SEAT cars are designed with an aerodynamically efficient body shape: very narrow gaps in the body panel, flush-fitting windows and headlights, reshaped exterior mirrors and efficient underbody panels. This streamlining also means your car will be safer and more stable when you're driving fast or in crosswinds.
Our expert engineers and designers use Computer Aided Design techniques to test your car’s aerodynamics in a virtual environment. By carefully considering complex flow behaviour over the vehicle body, they are able to produce cars with excellent aerodynamic properties.
