We have developed a simple ‘self-service’ website, so that you can check if your vehicle is affected by software that may cause discrepancies in the values for nitrogen oxides (NOx) during testing conditions. All you need to do is enter the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) details of your vehicle and you can see if your vehicle is affected, is unaffected or was affected but has already had the service action applied. Please navigate to the bottom of the page to enter your VIN number.
Please note that we can only give information about SEAT cars. For other Volkswagen Group brands, please visit the relevant brand website.
STEPS TO FOLLOW
THE VIN NUMBER
The VIN will look like this: WVWZZZ1JZXW000010. Take care when entering your VIN, for example, do not mistake '0' for 'O'.
HOW TO FIND YOUR VIN
You can find your VIN using our Registration to VIN look-up service at the bottom of this page. Alternatively, you can find your VIN at the bottom of the windscreen on the right hand side (as you look into the vehicle from the outside).
Alternatively, you can find your VIN in the front of the service book.
