The SEAT Advanced Apprenticeship Programme has been designed for 16-19 year olds and spans a three-year period on a block release basis, which means that each year you will attend the Volkswagen Group Apprentice Training Centre for up to seven one week blocks.

Successful completion of The SEAT Advanced Apprenticeship Programme will result in internationally recognised qualifications. As a qualified apprentice you will be capable of making a rounded contribution to your dealership. In addition, as a  young service technician or parts consultant you will have a range of skills that will enable you to succeed within your business.

The SEAT Advanced Apprenticeship Programme takes the industry one step closer to this objective and provides an excellent bridge from school to work offering a more advanced method of learning and subsequently better qualifications for apprentices.

The advantages of employed status and remuneration combined with the achievement of a universally recognised qualification, obtained through high quality training and practical experience means that you will be able to make a productive contribution within a shorter period than alternative programmes.

This minimises the time spent away from the dealership whilst providing a structured training programme that reflects the professional operation procedures, policies and needs of the SEAT dealer network.

National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs)  involve performance based criteria and are assessed against National Standards. This means that holders have demonstrated their competence in the workplace to an approved standard specially designed for that industry. The standards relate to specific areas of the apprentices job allowing you to make an effective contribution to the performance of your dealership.

Individuals are required to meet criteria in terms of their attitudes, aptitudes, interests and commitment to developing a career with a SEAT dealer.

The SEAT Advanced Apprenticeship Programme consists of a structured qualification framework. Successful apprentices gain a NVQ Level 3, IMI Technical Certificate, Advanced Apprenticeship Completion Certificate and Key Skills Certificate relevant to the chosen specialist area.

Successful technician apprentices will also gain Service Technician status recognised by SEAT on completion of their course.

The programme has been designed to keep pace with technological changes and to equip apprentices with the technical skills needed for SEAT vehicles of today and the future.

We provide formal qualifications with extensive product training to produce a technician who is technically competent as well as having the advanced skills to enable them to deal with customers.

Progress will be continually monitored and reviewed throughout the training period by SEAT trained instructors.

The purpose built training centre has state-of-the-art facilities that accurately simulate the true working environment of today?s leading SEAT dealer network, including vehicles from the most current range.
