PERFECTLY IN CONTROL

Your New SEAT Ibiza is great fun to drive. But if anything goes wrong it’s good to know it’s packed with the most advanced safety features around.

Naturally, you get head and chest airbags for both driver and passenger, plus three-point rear safety belts and central safety belts. Little ones are protected by ISOFIX points and a top tether anchoring system for child seats.

But of course the best way to protect yourself in an accident is not to have one at all, and there are plenty of ways your New SEAT Ibiza will do its best to help you stay out of trouble.

PACKED WITH SAFETY FEATURES

The Electronic Stability Control System (ESC) and XDS, plus Electronic Brake Assist (EBA), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Automatic Warning Lights are all designed to make collisions less likely.

ESC keeps track of information from your steering wheel, tyres, brakes and accelerator, making adjustments when necessary to keep the car stable. Models with engines over 100PS offer XDS on top, which gives you more control when you brake in curves, stopping wheels from slipping for maximum traction and improved response. EBA ensures maximum braking from the shortest pedal pressure.

And if you do need to brake suddenly, the Ibiza automatically activates your hazard warning lights and makes your brake lights flash, warning people behind you.

Digital Tyre Pressure Monitoring lets you know when you need a little more air to keep you safe, and reduce those fuel bills.
