ESC, ABS AND EBA
Starting with our active safety measures, the ESC (Electronic Stability Control) monitors information from the steering wheel, tyres, brakes and accelerator, making adjustments where necessary to keep you in the perfect arc. Meanwhile, the ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) keeps your wheels from locking up, which helps maintain steering control in heavy braking situations. Plus our Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) detects 'panic stops' and reacts by applying maximum braking effort within milliseconds - shortening the stopping distance and reducing the likelihood of accidents. The whole package comes standard across all versions. Isn't that good to know?
AIRBAGS
The new SEAT Exeo is equipped with 6 airbags across all versions, protecting the driver and his front passenger: 2 front airbags that deploy in two stages depending on the severity of the collision, 2 front side airbags and 2 curtain-type head airbags. As optional, you can have rear side airbags for additional protection in the back seats, too.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Additional standard safety features include active front headrests, reducing the likelihood of whiplash injuries, and driver seatbelt warning as well as ISOFIX anchorage and Top Tether straps for secure child seat mounting. Plus low tyre pressure warning, standard for the Style and Sport versions, and a second remote control featuring an alarm control.
